Washington — President Trump asked Elon Musk to reverse limits on Ukraine’s military Starshield internet use after Ukrainian officials reported new restrictions on military drone operations, according to reporting by the New York Times.
The request concerns Starshield, SpaceX’s satellite internet service used by Ukraine’s military during its conflict with Russia. Ukrainian officials said they discovered new limits on the use of military drones, prompting the president’s call to Musk.
