How we handle errors and publish corrections
Last updated June 13, 2026
Accuracy is the foundation of SourceRated. Our articles are generated by AI from public reporting and assigned a credibility assessment, and we take responsibility for correcting errors promptly and transparently.
How to report an error
If you spot a factual error, a mischaracterised source, or a credibility score you believe is wrong, email corrections@sourcerated.com with the article URL and a short description. We review every report.
How we handle corrections
- Minor fixes (typos, formatting) are made without a formal note.
- Factual corrections are made in the article and marked with a dated correction note at the foot of the piece.
- Significant errors that change the substance of a story are corrected, noted, and the credibility score is re-evaluated.
- Unverifiable or retracted stories are updated or removed, with a note explaining why.
Our standard
We aim to acknowledge correction requests within two business days. Because our content is AI-assisted, we treat reader reports as an essential part of our verification loop. See our Editorial Standards and How We Verify pages for more.
