JAIPUR — CleanMax, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, has signed a deal to supply 50 megawatts of wind-solar hybrid power to Sangam India, a textile manufacturer based in Rajasthan, according to industry sources. The agreement underscores India’s push to integrate renewable energy into its industrial sector.
The hybrid power project, which combines wind and solar energy, is expected to provide consistent and reliable electricity to Sangam India’s facilities, reducing its reliance on conventional energy sources. CleanMax, known for its innovative renewable energy solutions, will develop and operate the project, ensuring it meets Sangam India’s energy demands while adhering to sustainability goals.
Analysts highlight that this deal aligns with India’s broader strategy to achieve 500 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030. “Hybrid projects like this are crucial for stabilizing the grid and ensuring a consistent power supply,” said an energy analyst familiar with the deal.
The Rajasthan government has been actively promoting renewable energy investments, offering incentives and streamlined approvals for clean energy projects. Officials suggest that such initiatives will attract more businesses to adopt renewable energy, driving economic and environmental benefits.
Looking ahead, experts anticipate that similar agreements will proliferate across India’s industrial landscape. “As renewable energy costs continue to decline, more manufacturers will likely explore hybrid solutions to meet their energy needs,” said a source close to the industry.
